My Story: When All My Gifts Felt Like “Too Much”
There was a time in my life when I felt pulled in ten different directions. I loved math, I was gifted in graphic design, and I had a passion for speaking and teaching. At first, it felt scattered—like I had no focus. And people around me questioned if I even knew what I was doing.
But here’s what I learned: God never gives us random gifts. Each talent is intentional. Over time, I began to see how every gift clicked together—like puzzle pieces forming a bigger picture. Suddenly, what once felt like “too much” started to reveal my calling.
What To Do When You Have Too Many Ideas
If you’re standing in that same place today—overflowing with ideas but struggling to choose—here are three truths to remember:
- Your gifts are from God. Don’t diminish or dismiss what He’s placed inside of you.
- Clarity comes through prayer. Ask God how your gifts fit together in His bigger plan.
- Passion is a signpost. If you lack passion, it may be a sign you’re following the world’s path instead of God’s.
