I Stepped Out in Faith—and Here’s What Happened NEXT
Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “God, I just want to be something. I don’t need it to be fancy—just enough to make it”?
That was me. A little girl from humble beginnings, raised by parents who didn’t graduate high school. My only dream was to pay my bills and live without being a burden. But God had a vision for me that was so much bigger than what I could see.
My Story of Surrender
When I was in sixth grade, I received a scholarship that set me on a path to college. During a physics class, while we were learning about light, God whispered something that would forever change my life:
👉 My purpose was to help with both physical and spiritual blindness.
At the time, that sounded way too big for a girl like me. I wasn’t aiming for a title, a platform, or a business. I just wanted survival. But the moment I said yes to His plan, things began to shift.
I found myself walking into an optometry clinic, then into optometry school, then into private practice, and eventually into business ownership. What started as a simple yes to God’s vision has turned into nearly two decades as a doctor, a business owner, a wife, a mother, a speaker, and now the Queen of Vision.
Did it all happen overnight? Absolutely not. It took surrender. It took faith. It took Proverbs 16:3 lived out in real time:
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Lessons I Learned About Faith and Business
Here’s what I’ve learned:
- True success is not about strategy—it’s about surrender.
- Strategy without surrender is stressful.
- Growth comes from alignment, not just activity.
When I invited God into my blueprint, He opened doors no marketing plan could. He exceeded my wildest expectations—far beyond my original vision.
And that’s why I’m sharing this story with you. Because maybe you’re building something right now—a business, a ministry, a vision board dream—but it feels heavy. Maybe you’ve been hustling hard but still missing peace.
